Product Review | SimplySiti Makeup Remover

Wednesday, September 11, 2013
Hi lovelies!

I got a product review for you today, a makeup remover from SimplySiti brand. I came across about this product from Instagram i guess but i couldn't remember whose. Nevertheless lets start with the review!

"Cleanse make-up and dirt with only one application. Comes with 7 active organic ingredients that helps to clean and leaves your skin fresh and moist! Dual action formula is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin because it is alcohol free and contains natural active ingredients from 7 natural plants extracts (Celery, White Cabbage, Hyunmi, Tomato, Pak-Choi, Carrot and Broccoli)" -Simply Siti

Who doesn't want an organic makeup remover? I know I do. When I first started to use this product, I was like 'hmm, quite runny, must use quite a lot to removes this stubborn waterproof mascara' Oh heck no! I just need to drop about 5 drops on a cotton pad to removes my eye makeup. Win! Plus it doesn't irritates my skin and doesn't leaves my skin feeling oily or greasy. Major point for that. I hate to clean up oily stuff on my face since I need to use quite a lot of facewash then it will dry up my skin then acne will come and say Hello~

This makeup remover not only suitable for your face but your eyes and lips as well. 3 in 1 solutions! Save your time and save your money *kachings*. Plus it is also suitable for all skin type. I have combination skin type and I doesn't have any problems with this product yet. Hopefully nothing will ever happen in the future. Plus I'm on my second bottle already. I'm gonna give this item 4 out of 5

 2 coats of waterproof mascara

I let it stayed for 10 seconds on my eyes first before i slowly wiped the mascara off

You can get the product from Watson or Guardian or from the website too! The normal retail price at the drugstore is RM19.90 but you can get it for RM13.90 at the website. Go try it!

Dry Chapped Lips?

Tuesday, August 27, 2013

Hi lovelies!!

Have you experience this problem? Having dry and chap lips? I know I have and I know mostly we girls encounter this problem especially those who live in dry and heaty climate. Sometimes when we want to smile and laugh widely, we totally forgot bout the dry lips and it cracked! Ouch it hurts so bad I tell ya! Plus when you have dry lips, it looks unpleasant for some people and wearing a matte lipstick is totally a NO NO!

Hence, today I wanna share a bit of tips that I practice at home to reduce dry lips and as for me, I think I successfully made my lips looks A-Okay and fuller too.

1.  A Home-Remedy Honey Sugar Lip Scrub

A stated in the tittle above, it is an easy thing to do and mostly we already have those things in our kitchen!Just take 1 tablespoon of plain sugar - I just use regular sugar and 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix it together in a bowl until it become somehow sticky consistency. Take the mixture and rub gently on your lips for about 1 minutes and wash it off with warm waters. Do this remedy once a week to take off all the dry/dead skin on your lips. Easy right? Plus it is cheap and taste good too!

2. Use A Soft Bristle Toothbrush

I swear that this method is the easiest one to do. Everyone must brush their teeth 2 times per day right? *ehem I got a friend that works as a dentist* so after you brush your teeth why don't you take your time to softly 'brush' your lips in circular motion? It works wonder for me! But remember, use a soft bristle toothbrush and don't do it harshly, take your time and enjoying the little spa for your lips. I guarantee you, after you did that your lips will feel fuller and big!

3. Lip Balm & Drink  Plenty Of Water

I know everyone knows about it but how many of us do practice this? I admit that sometimes I do skip this step especially when I feel tired and all I can see is my bed. But this step somehow is crucial if you want that fuller kissable lips. Do apply lip balm whenever you feel you need to, when you are out under the sun, before you go to sleep especially for those who sleep with air-conditioning on as it can dry up the moisture from our body. As a tip, put your favourite lip balm next to your bed and apply it every night before you go to sleep. My favourite lip balm for the past year is my trusty Maybelline Baby Lips!

And of course drink plenty of water to compensate back the amount of water that your body  lost during our daily routine. If you don't favour the taste of plain water, why don't you spice it up with lemon? Not only it taste good but lemon is well-known for its high Vitamin C level and it is good for weight loss. Win-win situation!

So what are you waiting now? Go make your honey sugar lip scrub and drink plenty of water! Happy practising guys!
