Hi lovelies!!
Have you experience this problem? Having dry and chap lips? I know I have and I know mostly we girls encounter this problem especially those who live in dry and heaty climate. Sometimes when we want to smile and laugh widely, we totally forgot bout the dry lips and it cracked! Ouch it hurts so bad I tell ya! Plus when you have dry lips, it looks unpleasant for some people and wearing a matte lipstick is totally a NO NO!
Hence, today I wanna share a bit of tips that I practice at home to reduce dry lips and as for me, I think I successfully made my lips looks A-Okay and fuller too.
1. A Home-Remedy Honey Sugar Lip Scrub
A stated in the tittle above, it is an easy thing to do and mostly we already have those things in our kitchen!Just take 1 tablespoon of plain sugar - I just use regular sugar and 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix it together in a bowl until it become somehow sticky consistency. Take the mixture and rub gently on your lips for about 1 minutes and wash it off with warm waters. Do this remedy once a week to take off all the dry/dead skin on your lips. Easy right? Plus it is cheap and taste good too!
I swear that this method is the easiest one to do. Everyone must brush their teeth 2 times per day right? *ehem I got a friend that works as a dentist* so after you brush your teeth why don't you take your time to softly 'brush' your lips in circular motion? It works wonder for me! But remember, use a soft bristle toothbrush and don't do it harshly, take your time and enjoying the little spa for your lips. I guarantee you, after you did that your lips will feel fuller and big!
3. Lip Balm & Drink Plenty Of Water
I know everyone knows about it but how many of us do practice this? I admit that sometimes I do skip this step especially when I feel tired and all I can see is my bed. But this step somehow is crucial if you want that fuller kissable lips. Do apply lip balm whenever you feel you need to, when you are out under the sun, before you go to sleep especially for those who sleep with air-conditioning on as it can dry up the moisture from our body. As a tip, put your favourite lip balm next to your bed and apply it every night before you go to sleep. My favourite lip balm for the past year is my trusty Maybelline Baby Lips!
And of course drink plenty of water to compensate back the amount of water that your body lost during our daily routine. If you don't favour the taste of plain water, why don't you spice it up with lemon? Not only it taste good but lemon is well-known for its high Vitamin C level and it is good for weight loss. Win-win situation!
So what are you waiting now? Go make your honey sugar lip scrub and drink plenty of water! Happy practising guys!
Love,
Tieqazai
